2009 7th Place Aprilia Superteen Challenge
Having learnt to ride a motorcycle only 4 weeks before his first Superteen race in August 2008, Danny showed a natural aptitude to two wheeled competition.
Early in the 2009 Superteen series, Danny showed his competitive spirit and ability by taking the lap record at the opening round at Mallory Park.
By mid season, Danny had established himself as one of the front runners in the series. His best race of the season was the Donington Moto GP round where the Superteen Challenge had the honour of support race status.
After a fantastic fight to get to the front, Danny overdid it on the very last corner of the race to fall off whilst going for the lead. The performance did not go unnoticed by the watching Moto GP teams.
Previous Competition Experience:
Danny had previously competed at Club and national level in karting winning numerous Championships. He made the move from four to two wheels in 2008.
For 2010 Danny made the move to the 450 Aprilia machine, competing in the new Moto 450 Championship at Thundersport GB.
He has marked his move to the larger capacity machine with great success.
